What information we collect about you

This section explains the information we collect and use to provide, improve and protect our Kloud.

Account and Profile Information: We collect personal data about you when you register for an account, create or modify your profile, set preferences, sign-up for or make purchases through Kloud. This includes your birth date, gender, contact information, and billing information. Some of the personal data we will ask from you is required in order to complete the registration process. You will also have the option to provide us some additional personal data, including a display name and other details to your profile information to be displayed in Kloud. We keep track of your preferences when you select settings within Kloud.

Content You Provide through Our Products: Our Kloud are designed to make it simple for you to collaborate with others and work across multiple devices. To make it possible, we store, process, and transmit the content you provide, send, receive and share through our service.This content includes any information about you that you may choose to include.

Content You Provide through Our Websites: We collect other content that you submit to these websites, which include social media or social networking websites operated by us. For example, you provide content to us when you provide feedback or when you participate in any interactive features, surveys, contests, activities or events.  

Information You Provide through Our Support Channels: The Kloud also include our customer support, where you may choose to submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing with a Service.  Whether you designate yourself as a technical contact, open a support ticket, speak to one of our representatives directly or otherwise engage with our support team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.

Payment Information:  We collect certain payment and billing information when you sign up for a Trial or purchase any of our Paid Subscriptions or make other purchases through Kloud.  The exact personal data collected will vary depending on the payment method, but will include information such as name, date of birth, credit or debit card type, expiration date, card number, postal code, mobile phone number, which we collect via secure payment processing Kloud.

Marketing Data: This personal data is used to enable Kloud and our partners / service providers to send you marketing communications either via email or direct from the third party.

 

How we use information we collect (What we use it for)

To Personalize Your Experience: We use your information about you to provide Kloud to you. Our Kloud also include tailored features that personalize your experience, enhance your productivity, and improve your ability to collaborate effectively with others by automatically analyzing the activities of your team to provide search results, activity feeds, notifications, connections and recommendations that are most relevant for you and your team.  

Marketing: We use your contact information and information about how you use the Kloud to send promotional communications that may be of specific interest to you, including by email and by displaying ads on other companies’ websites and applications, as well as on platforms like Facebook and Google. These communications are aimed at driving engagement and maximizing what you get out of our Kloud, including information about new features, survey requests, newsletters, and events we think may be of interest to you.

Customer Support: We use your information to resolve technical issues you encounter, to respond to your requests for assistance, to analyze crash information, and to repair and improve Kloud.

 

For Safety and Security: We use information about you and your use to verify accounts and activity, to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity and to identify violations of Kloud policies.

 

How we share information we collect

Third-Party Service Providers: We share information, including personal information, with our third-party service providers that we use to provide hosting for and maintenance of our websites, application development, backup, storage, payment processing, analytics and other Kloud for us. These third-party service providers may have access to or process your personal information for the purpose of providing these Kloud for us. We do not permit our third-party service providers to use the personal information that we share with them for their marketing purposes or for any other purpose than in connection with the Kloud they provide to us.

Referrals: If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our products and Kloud, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. You must only provide your friend’s name and email address if you have a reasonable belief they will not object to us contacting them. If you do, we will automatically send your friend an email inviting him or her to visit the websites and will store this information for the purpose of sending this initial email, tracking the success of our referral program and other marketing activities.

Users of the Kloud: Certain features of the Kloud, give you an opportunity to interact with us and others. We are not responsible for any information you choose to submit and make public through these interactive features.

Assignment: In the event of a corporate change in control (for instance, a sale or merger), we may transfer your personal information to the new party in control or the party acquiring assets.

Law Enforcement, Legal Process, and Emergency Situations: We may use or disclose your personal information to a third party if we are required to do so by law or if we in good faith believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law or legal process.

 

How we retain and store information we collect

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary to provide you with the Kloud service and for legitimate and essential business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the service, making data-driven business decisions about new features and offerings, complying with our legal obligations, and resolving disputes. We keep some of your personal data for as long as you are a user of our Kloud.

 

How we secure information we collect

We are committed to protecting our users’ personal data. While implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect the security of your personal data, no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that data, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, is absolutely safe from intrusion by others. Your password protects your user account, so we encourage you to use a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser, and log out after having used Kloud.

How we transfer information we collect internationally

Kloud shares your personal data globally with other companies in the  company in order to carry out the activities specified in this Policy. Kloud may also subcontract processing to, or share your personal data with, third parties located in countries other than your home country. Your personal data, therefore, may be subject to privacy laws that are different from those in your country of residence.
